Project Highlight

MWOA volunteer teams have the special privilege of traveling all over the world to partner with other ministries and nonprofits, supporting them as they minister to and lift up their communities.

South Georgia Project Leaders Jaime and Connie Rivera and their team just returned from Immokalee, Florida where they worked at the Fountains of Grace Church of God. Since Hurricane Irma struck in September of 2017, multiple MWOA teams have served the Fountains of Grace church. However, the parsonage is still in desperate need. It can not be lived in, in it's current condition. Pastor Jaime Rivera's slogan for all of his MWOA teams is "The need is the call."

This motto aligned perfectly with their service in Immokalee. Even though months have passed since the devastating hurricane season of 2017, the Riveras knew that there was still a desperate need for a new roof at the Fountains of Grace parsonage. We count it a privilege to serve alongside of teams like this as they assist those still working to restore their lives after tremendous loss.
